Disney Day 3

 On Day 2 of our Disney adventure, we were off to Epcot.  We had beautiful weather that day.

We started our day off getting some pictures and autographs with some of th Disney gang.

 Donald Duck was Leen's favorite by far!  Not that he did not like Mickey, and he only let me pose with one of the characters for a picture.

We spent a lot of time in the Sea Pavilion, checking out the fish and riding the Nemo ride and talking with Crush the Turtle.  

We had lunch at the Sunshine Seasons Restaurant.   We made a real effort to avoid the regular "theme park foods" and eat something that was more healthy (or at least not deep fried).  This was the lunch we got at this counter service restaurant.  Mine was a spicy Cashew Chicken Stir-fry (Banana Cake for Dessert) , J had a Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad and Leen had a Baked Drum Stick and Basmati Rice.

 There are two parts to Epcot.  The front part where you enter the park is all about science and technology.  The back part features a host of nations from around the world.   I got Leen to pretend he was calling home in the telephone booth, only to Discover it was a real phone.

 At Italy we saw a Busker, juggling Soccer balls. He was really quite good.

In Mexico, we tried on some hats.  Leen actually took the picture of me.

 We tried some interactive videos games, the boys did not do so well in the games, but they had fun trying

For Dinner, we went to a Japanese Restaurant, Teppan Edo.  Its a good thing that all of the boys are cultured eaters.  There is no way I would have eaten here when my parents brought me to Disney World in the 80's.   The Teppan chef cooked the food in front of us, and put on a little bit of a show for the kids.  He was really quite funny, although not the best juggler.  He made a Volcano out of onion rings.

 My sword fish steak is the squarish thing on the grill.

 It was a great experience and the food was good (a little bland, but then we did have some sauces to dip it in).   We would definitely go back here, because Leen was fascinated watching him cook. 

 Leen also got his ears here as well.

 After we finished eating, we went out side and food this young lady, making candy animals.  She was fascinating to watch and even took requests from the kids.

We stayed for the fire works and then took some very tired little boys home to bed.  (will post fire work video later).
