On day five we returned to the Magic Kingdom, to do the other side (the right side) of the park, ride the train, and join the Pirate League!
It was much sunnier and warmer today, then when we visited on Sunday.
So the right side of the park is where yo will find Space Mountain, and a bunch other sci-fi themed rides.
After a few rides we made our way back to Adventure Land as it was time to join the Pirate League. So, they got new pirate names, (Leen is Eric Lockmonger), took a Pirate Oath, and got some pirate clothes (sword, sash, bandana, etc,). They were then taken into a secret treasure room, where they had their pictures taken and received a pirate medallion. The boys loved this!!
We went to Casey's which is hotdog stand/restaurant. Turned out to have some pretty amazing hotdogs, and we will definitely be returning there the next time we go. This J tucking into a hot dog topped with Pulled pork, Coleslaw, and BBQ sauce. It was huge, and she said it tasted really good (she would not share, so I can not confirm).
After lunch it was back out for a few rides and shows and then off to Downtown Disney. We arrived there in the middle of a huge downpour. We had dinner at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant (another restaurant we will be returning to)
The boys had Sushi (Aarun fell a sleep at the table, and ate his hamburger later on).
And us adults dined on Meatloaf, Sea Bass and Steak.
Then we went out and explored Downtown Disney.
We found this silent street performer, who Leen ran over to and after a few minute started to dance around (there is music playing all the time, in all the parks, and everywhere at Downtown Disney). He got some laughs and a big smile from the performer.
One of the places Leen was most excited to goto was the Lego Store. After checking out all the Lego sculptures and the pick a brick wall, we made some mini figures, picked up a set or two and headed back to the resort.
Leen was so tired, this was as far as he got. He didn't even get a chance to pull up the sheets.
