We began our summer vacation this year travelling to Jasper National Park for Gerry and Leanne's wedding. It was held on Spirit Island, in Maligne Lake within the park.
While the day started out grey and rainy, it turned sunny and bright for the wedding. It was a great ceremony, in a beautiful location. They made such a great couple.
The boat ride out and back was great fun, the Captain even let Leen drive the boat! (He is driving with Uncle Gerry).
After the ceremony we explored the island and took some pictures.
and of course Leen took the opportunity to ham it up...
There was a mountain, named after me. Mount Paul!
The following day we returned to Whitecourt for the reception. It was held at Eagle Creek staging area where Jeralyne and I got married.
