We took a quick trip to Calgary last weekend to pick-up Leen. Leen had been visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Whitecourt as part of his summer vacation. We all wanted to see the new penguins at the zoo. Leen loves looking at animals, and its a shorter drive to Calgary then Whitecourt. So it was a quick trip to Calgary!!! The day at the zoo was perfect, sunny but not too hot or windy. Leen even got to touch a tortoise! Apparently the Tortoise use to have a weight problem and they had to put him on a diet and exercise program. So everyday, he gets to go for a walk in the zoo.
